Indiana Michigan Power Company’s (IMPCo; A-/Stable) ratings reflect its integrated electric utility asset base and credit supportive regulatory environments in Indiana, approximately 70% of the rate base, and Michigan, approximately 30% of the rate base. In addition to slightly above-average returns on equity (ROEs), both states utilize recovery riders for environmental upgrades, fuel costs, energy-efficiency programs and other costs.
